These times are further broken down into 187 hours in the single-engine DA20-C1 aircraft and 18 hours in the multi-engine DA42 TDI aircraft (all flights are dual with an instructor). Flying is paid in $9,000 instalments every September 1st, January 1st and May 1st over the course of the three years and instalments are adjusted based on the actual rate the student completes the training (if a student requires additional training over and above the allotted time, the student must pay for that training).
If a student withdraws from the flying program, any balance remaining in their account will be refunded in full.
Ancillary Fees:
The total estimated cost of ancillary fees is $2,945.00 + HST and includes:
· Books and supplies

Previous flying experience is not required to start the program. Students may elect to take an optional introductory flight should they want to experience the DA20-C1 training aircraft prior to the start of the program.
Students who hold a Private Pilot Licence, or have prior flight training experience are eligible for the program. Credit for experience may be applied to the program requirements after a flight skills assessment has been completed. At that time, we will determine at what stage the student will begin the flight training.
